So, yesterday I spent time pratting about with the silver. The main issue I noticed was that I was failing to make a large enough difference between my layers. It is still not easy to see (especially with these quick pictures - close to the lamp), even though I have washed it a fair bit. The gold I'm not amazingly happy with but it's mostly just base coated, it looks too bright. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have more to show.
