Dwarf Slayer WIP


Tonight I started on the slayer for the dwarf contest being held on Librarium Online.  I haven't painted such a lot of flesh for some time, so I was practising painting some skin and working on my blending/highlighting.  The hair was blocked in to show where it all is and work around it.  So here he is when the flesh was started.








And after highlights.  I did wash his skin down a bit too much I think.  But it still looks good.

      Thanks Kev. It took a while, but was quite fun to paint a dwarf again. :D

    Yeah looks really promising, the skin looks really nice and smoth. Great job so far.

      Cheers Johan. It's something I need to get better at, sometimes my skin tones can end up a little chalky looking.
