Blood Bowl team is almost done.
They are nearly done! Finally. I am a bit sick and tired of this team now, but also pretty damn pleased with them. They all have numbers on and completed bases. The bases I took from my dwarf team I have done before, but added some mud patches to make it look like the pitch was well played. I think it turned out really well.
Below are some pictures. I now have a few more things to paint up, a turn, score and two re-roll markers. Pictures of them will be incoming later this week.

Looks pretty good. There are only 4 different models so it gets pretty repetitive. I like the second ed teams since you can get different models for most of the team with only likely repeats in lineman or a positional with 4 players allowed.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I agree the team is quite limited, it was a bit boring painting everything the same, but also helped as after the first one or two I knew where to put the highlights and everything.
DeleteLove the quartered look and those bases are fantastic. I love this old plastic team, I've only got one, and I dare not strip it though it could use a new look methinks.
ReplyDeleteCheers, I can honestly say I am SICK of yellow and never want to paint it again. They are old, but still very serviceable as a team. I am happy with them.
Deletequartered patterns are a great way to break up the monotony.
ReplyDeletefor my own plastic humans, I added little bits to each leaving only 1 of each position original to try and flavour them a bit, though they will also be getting a halved pattern.
